Finding Time
It's safe to say a lot of us have busy schedules. Be it working 9-5 jobs and/or school, caring for the kids, working around the house, etc. Whatever the case may be, our chaotic schedules can make it difficult for us to find some “ME" time, let alone time to workout. So how do everyday busy people find the time to slide that little pump into their daily routines? Follow me...
What if I were to give you an at home body-weight workout that only takes up to 25 minutes AND helps burn fat throughout the day? Would you challenge yourself to give it a try? You could choose your own time of day, though I have found the best time to do it is first thing in the morning. Not only does it help stave off calories you will eventually consume, but you will also get that feel good jolt of energy to help you push through the rest of your day. Are you ready for it? Here it goes:
* Start with a light full-body stretch focusing on your lower back and legs. This should take you five minutes.
(The following exercises should be done as a circuit with NO rest in between each set.)
* 1 minute- Jumping Jacks
* 45- Alternating Toe Touches (1- left, 1- right, 1- middle= 3)
* Burnout- Spiderman Pushups (As many as you can muster.)
* 30- Reverse Lunges (15 on each leg)
* 10- Bend & Thrusts with Knee Tucks
** REST- 30 seconds to 1 minute MAX**
That's one circuit. The goal is five complete circuits.
Beginners can start with three circuits the first week and work their way up to five throughout the next couple of weeks. All ready have a workout routine? I challenge you to use this as your warmup. All-in-all you will release stress and, burn fat and calories throughout the rest of your day. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain in as little as 25 minutes a day. Remember to stay hydrated and breathe!
Well... What are you waiting for!?!
